Ethernet / LAN Receipt Printers

Ethernet / LAN Receipt Printers plug into your wireless router or model via a cable which is normally blue but can also be another colour such as black, green, red and yellow.

They are considered as a network printer so the printer will sit on your “Network” and other devices will be able to communicate to it whether the device you are using is hard wired or wireless.

This is very common for iPad Systems where the most reliable connection is Ethernet / LAN. Your devices will all connect to the router or modem and then the iPad (since it can’t plug in) will connect via wifi and see the printers on the network (if they are compatible). The same scenario works with PC, MAC and Android.
